Awards
In order to recognize the contribution of those Pakistani entrepreneurs ( Role
Models) who have exhibited creativity and innovation in providing
entrepreneurial solutions to local problems and have achieved exponential growth
in the process.
The center has organized the entrepreneurship award 2010 on 10th
of April at Superior University, Raiwind road over a sumptious musical dinner
with the aims to highlight their entrepreneurial journey to make it a beacon of
light for younger generations.
Criteria:
The main criteria for the award will be your creativity and innovation in idea generation and business
opportunity recognition. We want to recognise individuals who took the business initiative with something ‘different’, may it be new market, new product or service, application of new production system, or new financial controls.
Selection Process and Categories:
A panel of judges will select the "Best Pakistani Entrepreneur of the Year" on the basis of above mentioned criteria in following categories:
Entrepreneur of the Year - Manufacturing Sector
(Three awards – one each for large, medium, and small businesses)
Entrepreneur of the Year - Services Sector
(Three awards – one each for large, medium, and small businesses)
Entrepreneur of the Year - Retail Sector
(Three awards – one each for large, medium, and small businesses)
Female Entrepreneur of the Year
(Three awards – one each for large, medium, and small businesses)
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
(Three awards – one each for large, medium, and small businesses)
How to apply:
Submit us a 500 words statement (either in English or Urdu) telling us what qualifies you to win this specific Award. This statement should highlight but not limited to:
The uniqueness of your business idea. Your creativity in accessing and generating (financial, human, and social) resources. Your unique qualities as an entrepreneur (such as risk taking, innovation, confidence, communication skills, negotiation skills, perseverance, persistence, customer
handling, etc.) Your competitive business strategy (that distinguishes you from your competitors)
Your financial performance during the last three years
